Looking for cheat codes for LEGO Harry Potter? As you may know, there are actually two games in the LEGO Harry Potter series, years 1-4, and years 5-7. This article will be a one stop location for the games, because I’ll be giving you cheat codes for both Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 and Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7.
I did write an article some time back on these games and found them quite a bit of fun, long before the Hogwarts Legacy era basically took over everything Harry Potter in the gaming world, but I’m assuming there are still gamers out there who enjoy this more cartoony version of the franchise still, so that’s why I’m bringing them up again on my blog. This game was also released on just about every platform you can think of, but the cheat codes are the same either way thanks to the LEGO games’ unique system of letting you enter in codes through a main hub usually. This was demonstrated in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, in which Gwenpool is the cheat master in the game.
How To Use Cheat Codes in LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 and 5-7

So, the system for entering cheat codes varies in each game, but for Year 1-4 you’ll want to head over to Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment in Diagon Alley. Get there by leaving the Leaky Cauldron until you find it and walk inside. It’s a blue building that looks like this. When you get there, there’s a chalkboard on the wall, you can use to enter your codes.

If you’re wanting to enter codes in LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7, you’ll need to go to the Main Menu in the game and go to Extras. From there you can find the cheat section and enter the codes. Pretty straightforward. Years 1-4 has more cheat codes than Years 5-7 unfortunately, and also they are the same general codes for the first game, which I’ll list below. I personally think the Years 1-4 version is a bit cooler and traditional to the LEGO games style, but that’s just me, I’m sure you’re mostly just here for the codes, so let’s go ahead and get to them.

Activating the Cheats Now That They’re Entered

Once you’ve entered the cheat code, go to Start/Options and then Extras. Turn the the cheat code ON/OFF as if it’s a normal setting. And that’s pretty much it. As you might have noticed the cheat codes for Years 5-7 are the same as the codes for Years 1-4, except 1-4 has far more spell cheat codes.
These cheats work on any version of the games, and make playing the game a lot of fun. The thing I like about the cheat codes in the LEGO games is they’re more like features and not just some weird hack to the game.
