Moonglow Bay Tells Tales of the Maritimes in this Great Indie Catch

I'm a big fan of fishing in games, but even more so a good story involving it. Moonglow Bay has done it. It's a story about a retired fisher getting back out there. It is also about settling a community's superstitions and getting back to the foundation of their livelihood. The story takes place in a traditional Eastern Canadian seaboard fishing village in the 80s. It is otherwise perfectly afloat in its conventional timeless qualities. I related to this game on a personal level, but it floats my boat on multiple. Let's see.

A Bird Story is a Classic and Influential Indie

This one in particular is about a young boy who rescues an injured bird in the forest near his school. More specifically, he fends off a badger which tries to catch the bird in a forest clearing. The rest of the story flows organically from this incident and it is the primary purpose of the narrative.

Remember pinball? Not only remember it but are you a "pinball wizard" as it were? Well, here we go again. Today I'm going to share a game that is available on both Mobile and PC platforms. The game is Pinball Deluxe: Reloaded. There is also apparently some background with Blackberry devices long before that for this publisher, but I don't know much about that. Before this post, I tried to load up an Android emulator to see if I could try the Google Play version on my Windows machine, but it didn't really work and it was easier to just…
