"James Halliday, he was like a god." This is not a review, showcase, or anything, but it is a narrative I feel like rolling with. This topic entered my mind a long time ago when I first saw the film version of Ready Player One, and then later when I read the book. Then when I surrendered the dream in Ready Player Two (it's an acquired taste, no dismissiveness or negativity here!) Everybody Really Needs to Play The Sims At Some Point

The Sims is a wonderful game, even for its beneficial mental health effects alone. I've been a casual player of The Sims for decades. When I was about midway through The Sims 3 seasons I wondered if this game needed to go further. Creative dedication to these ideas is where we are headed. Information literally is the most profitable commodity.
